Table Tales - throwing the cash away
I have been battling recently with the everest poker bonus. I’m not playing too much, but I have managed to free up about $10 of the bonus while losing $90 of my first deposit. Yup, not great going, but there a few cautionary tales to be learned.
Everybody knows the story… you sense weakness… it’s time to cash in… you are convinced they are bluffing… they are all in… you call… your stack vanishes before your eyes… a few hours, a few days, a few weeks of poker profits can disappear in the blink of the eye.
I love the cash games, but I find it so hard to do much more than just about beat the rake. Then it comes to the point where I get impatient and BANG… it’s gone. Bad Beats I can accept… but throwing it away, I don’t want to do.
For whatever reasons, my game seems to suit the tournaments better where I can win more than my fair share and make a bit of cash. One mistake is not going to cost so much either
Looking over the last few days, I have lost a lot of money in the cash games, it is just the tournaments keeping me afloat. I like the change of pace. But something tells me, just play your game… and for me that means tournaments.
Best of Luck & Thank you,P.S. Remember that all you have to do to get entered for a jackpot draw on the million dollar blog now is sign up for a Casino or Poker Room through this site, become qualified, and let me know.
