Do you want to keep up to date with the latest posts and news from the Million Dollar Blog?
There are a number of ways to subscribe, in recent times one of the most popular is by using a RSS feed.
RSS feeds, which you can usually spot by the orange box like to the left, allow you to see when websites have added new content. Basically you can get the latest posts or videos on your desktop without having to go looking for them (thank God!). If there is nothing new, then you don’t need to waste time going to the site “just to see if there’s anything new”.

Nobody really seems to know exactly what RSS stands for, but a common choice is ‘Really Simple Syndication’. The feeds that are sent are designed to be read by the computer, which can then interpret them for you.
In order to read the feed, you are going to need a reader, this can either be browser based or something that you download onto your desktop. If you choose a browser based reader, then you can check your subscriptions anytime anywhere, whereas the desktop ones allow you to download the items and browse them at your convenience.
Different news readers work on different operating systems, so you will need to choose one that will work with your computer. This is made more difficult as there are a lot of readers to choose from, with a variety of features… aarggggh!!
A good place to start is with a couple of free and very easy to use, browser based ones such as Google Reader or Bloglines. Either one will do if you’re just starting out (I use the Google reader) and they are pretty easy to get the hang of. Just subscribe to a few feeds and start playing and you will get the hang of it and pretty quickly start to see the benefits of the system over your old bookmarks.
Of course, if you don’t feel comfortable using a reader, then you can also subscribe through email. How you choose to subscribe is up to you
