Blue Jar Group Writing Project Review

September 20th, 2007 | by the MDB |

Recently Sarah over at Blue Jar organized a fantastic group writing project around the central theme of “how to” do anything! From my time blogging I think Sarah has to be the nicest blogger I have come across, she always writes in a very personable way and sends the most incredibly friendly messages when you get in contact with her. Sarah is one of those people you can’t help but like.

I have had an interesting time reading through the articles and these are the ones that have most stuck out for me. They each managed to provide some information and ideas that were hugely valuable to me on a personal level.

  1. How To Track New RSS Subscribers Google Analytics in 3 Easy Steps - I’ve always been frustrated at the lack of information regarding RSS subscribers… now at least I can know a little more
  2. How to Sleep on a Plane - I have a 12 hour flight coming up in a couple of weeks and always dread the lack of sleep… this was a god send
  3. How to Successfully Switch Your WordPress Theme - a well written guide to the frustrating problem of testing out new themes… useful for all WordPress bloggers

2 more which appealed to me on a personal level as well were these ones:

The best thing of all, finding some new blogs to investigate. I will be visiting everyone regularly in the future for sure.

Best of Luck & Thank you,

Awwwwwwwwwww! That is the sweetest thing you said about me. Thanks so much! Thank you too for getting your votes up. Glad you were able to learn some new things. I don’t know how I would pick, I’m thinking maybe I should make the next project have a higher tops list!

Sheila>> No problem, you don’t realize just how much I hate longhaul flights and having to watch all those terrible movies because I can’t sleep!

Steven>> No problem. It was definately an article worthy of a mention.

    GnomwyNewt>> See… that’s exactly what I mean!!
